Business Development Manager

We are seeking an ambitious and commercially driven Business Development Manager to join our Victorian Sales team. Reporting to the Commercial Director, this role is focused on identifying, developing and securing new business opportunities that drive sustainable revenue growth. You will be responsible for building and managing a strong pipeline of qualified opportunities, engaging senior decision-makers and leading the sales process from initial prospecting through to negotiation and close. Success in this role will come from your ability to uncover customer challenges, develop tailored solutions and build trusted relationships that create long-term value for both our customers and Finsbury Green. You will work closely with Account Management, Account Services, Marketing, Production and Estimating teams to ensure a seamless customer experience and successful onboarding of new clients. This is an outstanding opportunity for a proactive sales professional who enjoys hunting for new business, thrives in a target-driven environment and wants to make a meaningful contribution to a market-leading organisation.   Key Responsibilities • Identify, target and secure new business opportunities aligned with strategic growth objectives • Develop and execute structured prospecting and territory plans • Build and maintain a healthy pipeline of qualified opportunities • Manage the full sales cycle from prospecting through to contract negotiation and close • Deliver compelling presentations, proposals and customer solutions • Develop strong relationships with key decision-makers and stakeholders • Maintain accurate forecasting, pipeline management and CRM reporting • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure successful customer onboarding and service delivery • Provide market intelligence and customer insights to support business growth   About You You will bring: • Proven success in B2B business development or sales roles • Strong prospecting, negotiation and closing skills • Excellent communication and presentation capabilities • A disciplined and organised approach to pipeline management • High levels of self-motivation, resilience and accountability • The ability to build credibility and trust with customers and colleagues • Experience within print, print management, branded merchandise, mailing or related industries will be highly regarded
