Optus is one of Australia’s largest telecommunications providers, delivering hundreds of marketing campaigns across various teams and channels.

To support fast-paced execution and reduce complexity, Optus needed a way to connect two essential systems: Finsbury Green’s campaign management software, used by the marketing team to manage production, and Monday.com, used to plan and track creative work.

Our campaign management software, Launch, is designed to handle complex campaign coordination with accuracy, while Monday.com enables collaborative, agile project management.

To overcome the lack of integration between the two platforms, Finsbury Green partnered with Optus to develop a scalable, API-driven integration that seamlessly connects them. This unified workflow ensures all campaign elements are aligned from briefing through to delivery. By reducing duplicated effort and the risk of human error, the result is greater speed, accuracy and collaboration between internal and external teams.

Easier

The new API-driven integration eliminates duplicate data entry between our campaign management software and Monday.com. This has saved significant time across a range of campaign types. For example:

  • The Epic Data campaign, which previously took multiple days to configure, now takes just a few hours, saving up to two full working days.
  • A Multi Product Bundle campaign with more than 18 deliverables, once requiring manual duplication, is now built with Masters and resizes in just 20 minutes.
  • The MOCN offer, with 11 unique assets, now takes 15 minutes instead of 2 hours to deploy.

These improvements create faster handovers, reduce errors, and enable the Optus team to focus more on strategy and creative.

Greener

While the project’s focus was digital workflow transformation, reducing manual steps and duplicate work also positively contributes to a lower environmental footprint through fewer misprints, fewer revisions, and more efficient production.

Better

This integration has improved campaign speed and accuracy while reducing operational costs. The streamlined workflow between platforms has strengthened collaboration, enhanced visibility, and ensured Optus delivers with precision every time.
